On June 16, 2016, the Global Reading Network and the Mother Tongue-Based Multilingual Education (MTB-MLE) Network hosted a blended workshop and webinar on experiences developing early grade reading materials across languages. Presenters included Paul Frank of SIL LEAD, Nathalie Louge of FHI360, and Alison Pflepsen of RTI International. Attendees were encouraged to come and share their experiences, best practices and tools. The discussion was moderated by Carol da Silva, Senior Advisor for Basic Education Save the Children USA.
