UNESCO’s Institute for Statistics Offers New Tools for SDG 4

To help stakeholders around the world gather, understand and use data tools to assist in meeting Sustainable Development Goal 4 (ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all), UNESCO’s Institute for Statistics (UIS) has launched four new easy-to-use statistical publications and data tools.

These tools are: Quick Guide to Education Indicators for SDG 4 (a hands-on, step-by-step guide for anyone working on gathering or analyzing education data); SDG 4 Data Book: Global Education Indicators 2018 (the latest available data for the global monitoring indicators, updated regularly); SDG 4 Data Explorer (shows data by country, region or year, by data source, and by gender, location and wealth); and SDG 4 Data “Cheat Sheet” (a snapshot of the concept and data sources used to produce the global monitoring indicators).
